AVCP Healthy Families workshops (Elder-led, Qasgiq model)
Free 3.5-day workshops and open community gatherings with Elders and facilitators, built on Yup'ik, Cup'ik and Athabascan values (Elluarluteng Ilakutellriit). Held regularly in Bethel and in any village whose tribal council sends an invitation letter. Workshop hours count toward required foster-parent training hours and TANF work-activity hours. Fill out the registration form, or call 907-543-8680 / email HealthyFamilies@avcp.org, to apply for a session; upcoming dates are on the AVCP events calendar.
