Bethel Winter House (Uksumi Uqisvik / Uksumi Uitavik) — emergency winter shelter
Low-barrier overnight shelter for anyone without a warm place to sleep, open every night through the winter season, 8pm to 7am, with dates extending as funding allows. Guests arrive 8-11pm for a hot meal, laundry, showers and clothes; lights out 11pm; breakfast 6am; everyone leaves by 7am. Nobody is turned away for being intoxicated as long as they can follow the rules; no alcohol is allowed inside. 127 Atsaq Street, Bethel.
