LKSD village Advisory School Board (ASB) seats - how to run
Each LKSD village school has an Advisory School Board elected on the October municipal election day (Oct 6, 2026). To run you must be a US citizen 18+, a registered Alaska voter, a resident of the community for 30 days, not school staff or a student, and meet the criminal-history rules. Village candidates give their name in writing to the school's Site Administrator at least 7 days before the election (2026 deadline: Sept 29, 4:00 pm; fax not accepted). Eek School had three 3-year seats open in 2026; ASB meetings are monthly and open to all.
