LKSD Special Education (ages 3-22) / Child Find
LKSD Special Education serves students ages 3-22 in Bethel and the villages: special-ed teachers at every school, speech therapy, school psychologists, occupational and physical therapy, and deaf/hard-of-hearing services. If you think your child (including a preschooler age 3-5) may have a disability or delay, ask your school or call the Special Education & Early Education director's office at 907-543-4870 to request an evaluation. For babies and toddlers under 3, YKHC's early intervention (FIT) program is the starting point - ask YKHC.
