Best in the West Artist Entrepreneurship Competition (SWAAG) - cash grants for YK Delta arts businesses
SWAAG's Best in the West Artist Entrepreneurship Program gives startup or growth cash awards to new and established arts and culture businesses in the Y-K Delta after a series of business workshops and a pitch; between 2024 and 2025 it made 10 grants totaling $36,550. Open to YK Delta residents 18+ who did not win the prior year. It runs every year: the screening application is usually due in early September (the 2026 form closed September 5), with workshops in September-October and winners announced in late October.
