SWAAG Gift Shop & Bethel Saturday Market
The SWAAG Gift Shop inside the Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center (420 Chief Eddie Hoffman Hwy) sells Yup'ik and other Alaska Native art, sewing, carvings and jewelry on consignment; it is open Wednesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Local artists can sell their work there as free SWAAG community members — email southwestalaskaartsgroup@gmail.com or stop in. SWAAG and the Cultural Center also host Saturday Markets in summer (2026: July 25, Aug 8, Sept 19; vendors set up 9am, market 10am-2pm, tables first come first served) where local makers sell crafts and food; dates are announced on the SWAAG and Cultural Center Facebook pages, so check there or call 907-543-4585 before setting up a table.
