About
Good morning, Shungnak! Happy Tuesday, November 3! Today is Election Day! If you are eligible, get out and vote. Your voice matters, and your participation helps shape our state's future. Join us at the school today at 12:00 noon for a meet and greet with Daniel White, our district’s HR Coordinator. This is an opportunity for parents to offer ideas for improving attendance and enrollment. We encourage everyone to come and contribute to the conversation. At 2:30 today, our middle and high school students will visit the polling location to learn about the election process with Ms. Genevieve. Those students will be dismissed following the visit. Tomorrow at 3:15, the school will conduct our monthly fire drill. Upcoming school events: November 5, Thursday, at noon: Monthly ASC meeting. Everyone is welcome! November 6–7, Friday–Saturday: Wrestling trip. Let’s cheer on our Eagles! November 10–12: Visit from Cassie Largo, Staff Development Specialist. November 11, Wednesday: Veterans Day lunch. All veterans are invited to eat with us and visit our students. Our youngest students are practicing a song, and we look forward to thanking you for your service! November 13, Friday: Healthy Relationships presentation by Maniilaq. November 16–19: Visit from Aerial Johnson, Curriculum Director. November 25, Wednesday: Thanksgiving Break begins. Students, come to school ready to learn, be kind to one another, and show respect for your teachers. A kind word, a helping hand, and including someone can make a real difference. Families, thank you for helping your children arrive on time and ready for a successful day! Respect Each Other • Honor Our Past & Traditions • Build Our Future Together.See more
