Alaska Child Care Assistance Program (PASS) - thread, Southeast office
The State of Alaska helps working, job-training or in-school parents pay for child care for children under 13 (older if disabled) through the Child Care Assistance Program ('PASS'). Ketchikan, Saxman and Metlakatla families apply through thread, the state's Southeast/Northern grantee: phone 907-479-3100 or toll-free 855-479-2212, email CCAthread@threadalaska.org. Fill out the CC08 application (PDF) and send it with pay stubs and provider info, or apply online through the AKCCIS portal. Care must be with a licensed/approved provider that accepts the program.
