Bus+ ADA Paratransit & Senior (65+) rides
Bus+ is the Borough's door-to-door ride service for people who cannot use the regular bus because of a disability, and a pilot program for seniors 65 and older. Fare is $2 cash; the fares page listed regular-rate monthly/annual passes as valid on Bus+ from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 - ask Transit whether that still applies (discounted senior/youth passes are not valid on Bus+). Rides run the same days and hours as The Bus (about 5:15 am-9:15 pm inside city limits, 5:30 am-7:15 pm outside). Book the day before or up to 14 days ahead by calling 907-225-8726, 7 days a week 8 am-5 pm. To qualify by disability you must go through the Borough's ADA eligibility application (or show a valid ADA card from another US transit agency); ADA cardholders also ride the regular bus free. Applications can be downloaded, emailed from transit@kgbak.us, or picked up at 1175 Copper Ridge Lane.
