Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) scholarships via KPU
Because KPU Telecom belongs to NTCA / the Foundation for Rural Service, Ketchikan high-school seniors are eligible for FRS national scholarships (a 2026 Kayhi graduate won a $5,000 FRS/JSI scholarship for science/math/medicine/engineering). Local organizations can also apply for FRS technical grants. Ask KPU Customer Service (907-225-1000) or see frs.org.
