KGBSD cell phone / smartwatch policy (Board Policy 5138)
Students in grades K-5 may not bring cell phones, smartwatches or internet-connected personal devices to school. Older students: phones only before/after school, powered off and stored in backpacks/lockers during the day; a phone seen during the day is bagged and held, with escalating steps on 2nd and 3rd violations. If you need to reach your student during the day, call the school office (Ketchikan Charter School office: 907-225-8568).
