KPU Electric – power outage line
KPU Electric serves Ketchikan and Saxman with mostly hydro power. To report a power outage or downed line, call the Bailey Powerhouse system operator 24 hours at 907-225-4011 (leave a detailed message with address if they are dispatching). If wires are down, stay clear and call 911. Check the live outage map at levels.ketchikan.gov/outage.gif (green = no outage, red = outage) or the KPU Electric Facebook page. For new electric hookups call KPU Electric 907-225-5505 or Customer Service 907-225-1000 and use the service request forms.
