Tlingit & Haida Head Start - Saxman center
Free preschool for children ages 3-5 (turning 3 by the school-year cutoff) run by Tlingit & Haida, with a center in Saxman (2456 Raven St). Head Start follows the school year (late Aug/early Sept to mid-May) and gives priority to lower-income families, children in foster care or homeless situations, and children with diagnosed or suspected disabilities; families of any tribal affiliation may apply. Apply online (Formstack) or print the PDF application and email/fax/mail it to the Juneau enrollment office.
