Tsimshian Name Giving & Adoption Ceremony (via TTA)
If you would like to receive a Tsimshian name or be adopted into a Tsimshian clan, contact the Tsimshian Tribal Association and they will pass your name to the dance group hosting the next ceremony. The 2026 gathering was hosted with Galmeelganm Neeyaaym and Dancers of our Grandfathers; 51 people received names. TTA says to reach out as early as possible so nobody is left out of the next one.
