Maniilaq Elder Services (Utuqqanaat Inaat)
Maniilaq's Elder Services helps elders with physical/mental challenges stay independent in their community: a Care Coordinator helps complete State of Alaska Senior & Disabilities Services applications, and grant programs (Senior In-Home) provide case management, chore, and respite services. Congregate meals are served at Utuqqanaat Inaat senior center in Kotzebue and at village schools; home-delivered meals in Kotzebue come from the Maniilaq Health Center kitchen. Call Elder Services to start an application, Utuqqanaat Inaat for meals, or the transportation line for rides.
