Maniilaq Health Center Emergency Room (ER)
Maniilaq Health Center in Kotzebue runs a 24/7, five-bed emergency department for the whole Northwest Arctic region, staffed to stabilize sudden illness or injury and arrange medevac (with Qavvik Air) to Anchorage or Seattle when a patient needs a higher level of care. For a true emergency, dial 911 or go straight to the ER; in a village, contact your local Maniilaq village clinic first. The hospital is at 436 5th Avenue, Kotzebue.
