Original post: Attention - All piped utility customers connected to the Bethel Heights Water Treatment Plant: A Boil Water Notice is in effect due to a positive test for E. coli at one of three water testing sites. The notice will remain in effect until water testing confirms the system is safe. An update will be provided as soon as results are available. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Last week, the AVCP-RHA Board of Commissioners and administration attended the 2026 Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) Annual Convention, which highlighted the resilience and strength of Alaska Native communities. During the convention, AFN passed and presented Resolution 26-02, “Commemorating the One-Year Anniversary of Typhoon Halong and Supporting Statewide Disaster Recovery.” Our Board Chairman accepted the recognition alongside representatives from AVCP, Calista, YKHC, and impacted communities. As recovery efforts continue, we are grateful for the recognition and ongoing support from our friends and relatives across Alaska. Please join us in honoring the survivors, families, and communities still recovering from Typhoon Halong. Quyana!
