In Toksook Bay our Mechanic/Welder did an oil change on a four-wheeler and a side by side. It is important for vehicles to have regular oil changes to maintain the vehicle. If not, you risk serious issues for your vehicle like lower fuel efficiency, higher emissions, overheating and more. It is recommended to do an oil change for a new vehicle one month after receiving your new vehicle. Then after that it is recommended to change the oil every 6 months after your last oil change.

This is our Mechanic Welder (M/W) in Tuntutuliak, right after he cleaned the injector on a four-wheeler. It is important to clean a four-wheeler's injector because it is essential to maintain the vehicle’s performance. If the injector is left uncleaned it can reduce fuel efficiency and damage the engine overall.

Our two Mechanic Welders (M/Ws) from Napakiak worked on a dirt bike, using a PSI Compression Test to measure the pressure in the cylinders of an engine. They also worked on a truck to replace a water pump gasket and radiator. A water pump runs coolant throughout the vehicle’s engine then the radiator disperses heat from the coolant.
